Summer is finally here and one of our favorite beverages is Lavender Lemonade.
Yes!!! That’s right it’s just what you’re thinking… Lavender in Lemonade! Below you will find a different and delicious treat.
What Do You Need:
2 Cups Boiling Water
2 Cups Of Cold Water
1 Cup Of Lavender Flowers
1 Cup Of Lemon Juice
1 Cup Of Sugar
What To Do:
Place the lavender flowers into a pitcher; pour the boiling water over the lavender flowers; cover with plastic wrap and allow to steep 10 minutes; strain and discard the lavender flowers from the water and return the water to the pitcher. Add the cold water, lemon juice, and sugar into the pitcher and stir until the sugar dissolves. Refrigerate until serving.
While all varieties of LAVENDER are edible, English Lavender and Provence Lavender are most often used for culinary purposes.
